Rajasthan Royals advanced to the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the second qualifier in Ahmedabad on Friday.

After restricting Bangalore to 157-8, Rajasthan reached their victory target with 11 balls remaining.

The tournament's leading run-getter Jos Buttler continued his stellar form with an unbeaten 106 off 60 balls - his fourth century this season- as his team ended up scoring 161-3 in 18.1 overs.

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 21 (13 balls) and captain Sanju Samson was out for 23 (21 balls).

Earlier, Rajat Patidar (58 off 42 balls) top-scored for RCB, who were sent to bat after losing the toss.

Glenn Maxwell scored 24 off 13 balls, while Virat Kohli could only manage seven runs.

Prasidh Krishna and Obed McCoy took three wickets each for Rajasthan, who will face debutants Gujarat Titans in the final in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

It will be Rajasthan's first IPL final since winning the title in the inaugural season in 2008.
