Rafael Nadal reigns supreme in Abu Dhabi

WAM

Rafael Nadal has won his fifth title at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.

The world number 1 took just over three hours to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7, 7-5, 7-6.

He's now the first man to clinch the title five times, beating Novak Djokovic's four.

The final match was a fitting conclusion to the championship, which attracted more than 15,000 spectators across the three days.

Earlier on Saturday, Djokovic defeated Russia's Karen Khachanov 7-5, 6-3 to finish third in the tournament.
