Premier League: Leicester continue title charge with win at Palace

Leicester City won 1-0 at Crystal Palace, to increase their advantage at the top of the Premier League to eight points. Riyad Mahrez got the game’s only goal, turning in Jamie Vardy’s cross in the 34th minute. Elsewhere, Arsenal kept their slim title hopes alive with an impressive 2-0 win at Everton. The Gunners are 11 points behind the leaders, but have a game in hand. West Ham remain in 5th, after Cesc Fabregas struck late on to deny them all three points at Chelsea, with the game at Stamford Bridge ending 2-2, while Stoke moved into 7th with a 2-1 win at Watford. Meanwhile, in the relegation battle, Norwich moved out of the bottom three thanks to a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion. That result means Aston Villa are now 12 points from safety, after they went down 1-0 to Swansea.
