Milos Raonic dumps Stan Wawrinka out of Australian Open

Former champion Stanislas Wawrinka has been dumped out of the Australian Open by 13th seed Milos Raonic. The 25-year-old Canadian fired 24 aces on his way to a 6-4, 6-3, 5-7, 4-6, 6-3 win in the fourth round match. It’s his first victory in five matches against the fourth seeded Wawrinka. Raonic next plays the French 23rd seed Gael Monfils for a place in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Johanna Konta has become the first British woman to reach the quarter-finals of a grand slam for 32 years. Konta fought back to beat last year's semi-finalist Ekaterina Makarova 4-6, 6-4, 8-6.
