Mumbai Indians' chances of reaching the Indian Premier League play-offs are still alive after an eight-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals.

The five-time champions will take fourth place if they beat Sunrisers on Friday and Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday.

Royals are seventh in the table and a top-four spot is still possible, although their run-rate all-but-ends their hopes of qualifying.

Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore have all got a guaranteed place in the play-offs.
