UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is concerned over further discrimination against Muslims in the aftermath of terrorist attacks around the world, according to national news agency WAM. Ban Ki-moon took part in an open debate at the Security Council, on security development and the root cause of conflicts, where he discussed the increase in the alienation of Muslim refugees and migrants. With the recent terror attacks in Paris, Beirut, and Baghdad as well as the reported bombing of a Russian airplane, he said the focus should be on prevention and human rights instead of inequality and oppression.
