In a call with the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yair Lapid, Sheikh Abdullah stressed the need to cease any activity that violated the sanctity of the place of worship.
His Highness also highlighted the need to respect the legal and historical status quo of Jerusalem and to respect Jordan’s guardianship over the holy sites under international law.
