Residents in the UAE are being urged to only seek information from reliable sources.

That's the word from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment's (MoCCaE) after a video of sick animals went viral on social media.

The video, which shows a herd of goats and cattle suffering from a disease, started spreading as fears over COVID-19 escalated.

Ministry officials also reminded the public to avoid spreading rumours or forwarding unreliable information.
