All educational institutions in Sharjah will resume face-to-face lessons from Monday, April 29.
The local emergency, crisis and disaster management team confirmed the move.
The authority praised the efforts of all institutions and government entities that contributed to the emirate's recovery from the effects of the recent extreme weather conditions.
Following the heavy rains and storm that hit the UAE last week, educational institutions in Sharjah were instructed to adopt distance learning measures until April 22, and from April 23-25, they were allowed to opt for in-person, remote or hybrid form of teaching.
