UAE citizens wanting to visit the UK can apply for the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme from February 1.
This system exempts Emiratis from requiring a pre-entry UK visa and streamlines the overall travel process, offering speed, enhanced accessibility and affordability.
"It is the result of four years of collaborative effort, and a symbol of our commitment to strengthening the already deep ties between the UAE and the UK," said Mansoor Abulhoul, UAE Ambassador to the UK.
ETA applications can be summited from February 1 via the 'UK ETA' app or on gov.uk for travelling to the UK on or after February 22, 2024.
