Multiple road closures to affect Dubai on Thursday

Temporary road closures in Dubai will be in affect from 12:45pm on Thursday, due to the UAE Tour Women 2025 cycling event, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed.

The race will begin at the Dubai Police Officer's Club on Latifa Hospital Street, and finish at Dubai Harbour, covering a distance of 149 kilometres. 

Streets including Latifa Hospital Street, Oud Metha Road, Al Seef Street, Corniche Street,  Al Khaleej Street, Omar bin Al Khattab Street, Baniyas Road, Rebat Street, Tripoli Street, Zayed bin Hamdan, Al Qudra Street, Sayh As Salam Street, Umm Suqeim Street, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street and the Dubai Harbour area are affected.

The race is due to finish around 4:40 p.m. The final road closure will reopen when the last cyclist crosses the finish line.

The UAE Tour Women event is made up of four stages and runs until February 9. 

Stage 2 will take place between Al Dhafra Fort-Al Mirfa (111km), Stage 3 is between Al Ain Qasr Al Muwaiji-Jebel Hafeet, (152km) and Stage 4 takes place in Abu Dhabi Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Academy-Abu Dhabi Breakwater, (128km).
