H.H. Sheikh Mohammed: Dubai focused on turning challenges into opportunities

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has reaffirmed that Dubai does not wait for the future but confidently embraces it through rapid transformation.

He highlighted the city's proactive approach to shrinking the concept of time and driving progress, while attending Dubai Camp, a key event aimed at fostering greater integration among government entities.

Sheikh Mohammed was joined by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister.

The event brought together senior officials to enhance collaboration, anticipate future challenges, and develop strategic roadmaps across various sectors.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that the discussions at Dubai Camp reflect the city’s commitment to transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation.

He added that the outcome of the event demonstrated strong cooperation among Dubai’s institutions, which is key to maintaining the city’s global competitiveness and improving the quality of life for its citizens.

During the one-day event, government officials engaged in exploring future scenarios and emerging trends that will shape Dubai's government, economy and society.

It served as a platform for open dialogue, fresh ideas and shared visions, aimed at ensuring Dubai remains a global leader in adaptability, innovation and progress.

Participants were organized into working groups to develop strategic plans addressing both expected and unforeseen challenges. The event also focused on creating flexible, sustainable strategies to capitalize on opportunities arising from rapid global changes.

The agenda included workshops and interactive discussions on key topics such as technological transformation, infrastructure, climate resilience, smart cities, public service sustainability and economic shifts.

Sessions also explored the impact of digital advancements, artificial intelligence, and big data on the future of government operations.
