This includes ensuring influencers obtain a license from ADDED for advertising services online, obtaining permits for any form of advertising, and verifying that economic establishments hold valid licenses when contracting with influencers or social media platforms. |
Failure to comply may result in penalties ranging from AED 3000 to AED 10,000 and could lead to closure for non-compliance with ADDED regulations.
In a circular on Wednesday, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of all licensed economic establishments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to promote and create an ideal economic environment for business in the Emirate.
