Dubai confirms free parking for 4 days

Parking will be free across most public spaces in Dubai during the Eid Al Adha holidays.

All paid zones, except for multi-level terminals, will be free of charge from Saturday, June 15 to Tuesday, June 18, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced. The parking meters will be re-activated on Wednesday, June 19.

The RTA confirmed that its customer happiness centres and service provider centres will be closed from June 15-18, while technical testing services will resume on Tuesday, June 18.

Public transport timings will also be adjusted during the holidays.

Customer Happiness Centres

All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the holidays. The Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, Al Kifaf and RTA Head Office will remain operational 24/7 as usual.

Dubai Metro

The Red and Green lines will operate as follows: June 14-15 from 5:00 am - 1:00 am the next day, Sunday, June 16 from 8:00 am - 1:00 am the next day, and Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21 June from 5:00 am - 1:00 am the next day.

Dubai Tram

Dubai Tram will operate from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am - 1:00 am (next day), and on Sunday from 9:00 am - 1:00 am.

Dubai Bus

The changes in bus timetables during the Eid Al Adha holidays can be tracked via the S’hail app.

Abu Dhabi bus routes E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and E102 from Al Jafiliya Bus Station will not operate from June 14-18. Riders are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period.

Water Taxi

The Water Taxi service from Marina Mall - Blue Waters (BM3) will run from 4:00 pm - 11:50 pm, subject to availability. Between 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm, customers must book in advance.

Dubai - Marina (BM1) Marina Mall - Marina Walk, will run from 11:30 am - 12:00 am; 4:00 pm - 11:30 pm, as a circular line.

Abra

Dubai Old Souk - Baniyas (CR3): 10:00 am - 11:55 pm; Al Fahidi - Al Sabkha (CR4): 10:00 am - 12:00 (midnight); Al Fahidi - Old Deira Market (CR5): 10:00 am - 11:45 pm; Baniyas - Seef (CR6): 10:00 am - 11:55 pm; Al Seef - Al Fahidi - Old Deira Souk (CR7): 3:10 pm - 11:05 pm.

Dubai Festival City - Dubai Creek Harbour (CR9): 4:00 pm - 11:55 pm; Al Jaddaf - Dubai Festival City (BM2): 08:00 am - 11:50 pm; Excursions from Sheikh Zayed Road Station (TR6): 4:00 pm - 10:15 pm.
