British Prime Minister Theresa May is set to hold Brexit talks with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker next week.

This comes after her symbolic defeat in parliament, which many believe would challenge her negotiating strength.

The date for the talks is still kept under wraps by her office.

Britain’s Brexit secretary Stephen Barclay is also set to hold talks with EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels next week

Several reports suggest that the European member states are unlikely to offer any concession on the backstop before MPs vote again on Brexit at the end of this month.
