Six Stormtroopers have arrived in Abu Dhabi ahead of the Middle East premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The big event takes place at Emirates Palace on Wednesday, December 16. The seventh edition of the franchise was filmed in the UAE capital in May 2014, with more than 650 crew working across two locations. It’s expected to be one of the most successful Star Wars movies of all time, breaking US records for advanced ticket sales.
