After making its Middle Eastern debut in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens at cinemas across the UAE today. A select group of local and international celebrities, fans and even some Stormtroopers attended the premiere in the capital. Guests were also treated to the unveiling of the “Jakku” experience– a one-off look at the props and set pieces used in the movie’s filming in the Abu Dhabi desert. ARN spoke to this man who was particularly sentimental about being one of the first to see the movie in the Middle East.
