Meghan Trainor has said replacing Jennifer Hudson on 'The Voice UK' was "intimidating".

"It’s tough because like I’m her number one fan and it’s hard to fill those shoes, but everyone has been so nice about it," she said, adding how she has reached out to the singer asking for "advice".

The US singer-songwriter, who is on the panel alongside existing coaches Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Olly Murs, also said she was "very insecure" about what the contestants would think of her because she had not accomplished as much as her co-stars.

Trainor has been a judge on American singing show The Four: Battle For Stardom, and her debut single All About That Bass topped the charts across the world, reportedly selling more than 11 million copies.
