The UAE has welcomed France’s announcement of its intention to recognise the State of Palestine.

Dubai Police have extradited two internationally wanted suspects to France for their involvement in serious transnational crimes, including attempted fraud and drug trafficking.

The UAE has hosted 17,619 Afghan evacuees since the Taliban ousted the US-backed government in 2021, providing them with critical care and facilities at the Emirates Humanitarian City prior to their resettlement in 21 countries.
