UAE retailers urged to find new and effective ways to engage
Retailers in the UAE need to find new and effective ways to engage with customers if they want to attract the maximum number of shoppers.
That’s according to PwC’s latest Middle East Total Retail Survey, which found that close to 40 per cent of shoppers pay for purchases online using their smartphone.
It also found that there has been a year-on-year increase in the number shoppers who frequently shop online, with the figure now close to 30 per cent.
Karl Nader, a partner at PwC network company Strategy&, says retailers need to quickly get on board new shopping trends.
