Dubai to get 125 new school buses
Dubai is set to get a new fleet of school buses just in time for the new academic year.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that it will award a contract for acquiring 125 new, state-of-the-art buses for students.
The vehicles will be added to the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) fleet in a bid to cope with the growing demand for school transport in Dubai.
The buses will help raise the number of students lifted by DTC buses from 7,000 students last year to 10,000 students in the new school year starting in September.
